Paddy joined Katestone in 2020 after graduating from the Queensland University of Technology. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) and developed a keen interest in pursuing a career in Air quality science. He has experience working with both Geographic information systems (GIS) and R-studio.
Since joining Katestone, he has gained experience in all aspects of air quality consulting including assisting with the delivery of air quality assessments for environmental impact statements and development applications. Key projects of interest include those centralised around future sustainability like transmission lines and renewable energy projects. Paddy is also keen to work on “Green Metal Mining projects” those mining metals that have the potential to improve Australia’s renewable energy infrastructure. Ignore the hint of greenwashing, the detail and complexity of mining projects is where he finds reward.
Outside of work you can find Paddy attempting to scale rock walls, aggressively kicking a football around with mates or flicking a lure around a body of water with an unrealistic expectation to catch a fish.
