Industry Breakfast Nov 26: Can we adapt to Climate Change?

We know there are strong opinions around climate change and how we address this issue. The latest IPCC Assessment Report has concluded, with greater certainty, that:

  • Warming of the climate system is unequivocal
  • Human influence on climate is clear

What does this mean from a global persepective, and for us here in Australia? How can we adapt? What are the consequences of continuing with business as usual?

To help you draw your own conclusions Katestone and AMOS is pleased to present a special Industry Breakfast with:

Dr Julie Arblaster, Senior Research Scientist at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. photo: Carlye Calvin.Dr Julie ArblasterSenior Research Scientist at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology and Lead Author of the ‘Long-term Climate Change: Projections, Commitments and Irreversibility‘ chapter of Working Group I (WGI) contribution to the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report. Julie will discuss the findings and likely trends suggested by the future climate projections of her work.
